So what was the placement of the teams? Or did I miss that in one of the posts?

1st Sota/Mithril
2nd No5 RAC
3rd BSG
4th PSC

Not sure past that. I would enjoy seeing a break down of the point spreads from the teams.

Overall, I had a lot of fun. I thought the actors were great, especially Gunny and the stripper.

My biggest complaints however were:
No post-mission debrief - It is nice to know what you are doing right, and what you are doing wrong so you can change it for the next mission, and its nice to have a chance to defend what you did instead of just flat out get marked down for it.
No post-briefing team time - It would have been nice to have a few minutes after the briefing to square away those final details, conduct rehearsals or create a general plan instead of just literally being kicked out of the briefing room into the vans, and then a minute later be on target. I know the first mission was screwed up for us comm-wise because none of us had radios that went above GMRS 16 and we only figured that out in the van on the way - and then comms were still screwed up because we were unable to debug issues.

I just want to back up those points, I am in full agreement. I'd also have liked to have a little more control over how we did the mission. For instance, maybe we could hit X door instead of Y door. It would certainly add a dimension of problem solving and tactical planning as well as made the scenarios feel less cookie cutter.

Thanks for the feedback. I think the idea of debriefs is good, and we will take that into account. The short time for planning was intentional and due to the time sensitivity of the mission, this situation was a call-up where we had only a narrow window of time to execute the operation while Rialto was at the location. We hoped the van ride would give you enough time to plan. Again, noted for next time.

wonderful event! I had a blast. I liked the caliber of competition! hope everyone will keep raising the bar at these competitions! Congrats BSG and No.5 RAC

Thanks summers for all your hard work!

I lol'ed at kendo running out of the drug lab, turning around, throwing a bag of drugs at me, then running away..

great acting! The actors made the event exciting. no actors = no event. bad actors = poor event!

My pleasure. It was a great time. Matt and I are going to start planning for cqc8 tomorrow. Just kidding, I'm exhausted and I have been at cage setting up so much my wife was just about to start forwarding my mail there. Maybe on Tuesday.

Great Event, thanks to all the admins/actors for helping out. I really have no complaints, all i'd like to see next time would be 5-10 minutes of debrief for each team at the end of it all so they can work on things for the next competition.

Also, thanks for providing us with the radio, I couldn't believe mine crapped out when I showed up.

Finally, Gunny yells and throws chairs like a champ.

I thought Gunny was going to throw me.

Awesome scenarios, night club took the cake in my opinion. Great acting all around.

Damn claymore.

OLLIE TANK was awesome, I look forward to more events at CAGE.
