Have you down for UN, thanks. I will let you know about the UN convoy vehicles when that time comes, thanks for the offer.

Pretty sure the reason why there isn't more interest in this event is due to lack of pictures of mega cities and tanks and nuclear power plants and so on. There are a couple other guys interested in this game, probably because they have camped and played on this field. I wish I could pull Disneyland out of my a$$. I do have some photos but the field is currently under construction and will be ready for May. Have been working on the field with only myself and 3 other people, so the lack of help has made things a slow go. We will be having a village of about 8 huts and multiple machinegun bunkers in one area and bunkers and firebase in another area. This game will be on about 300 acres. I think since a majority of the community prefer to play on a paintball field, this field may not be desirable.
Not much more I can say, but unfortunately may have to cancel if lack of interest prevails by April. Only reason why I am needing the registration fee is for the start of our field insurance. Thought since we were offering camping, BBQ, and a raffle, it would bring in some interest. Silly me :( .
I do want to express my sincere gratitude to Nasty for signing up for our first event and to Horty and Deftanker, thankyou as well. Also wanted to thank Airsoft Ammo Supply for offering to be the BB vendor and donating raffle prizes.
I can't persuade anyone to sign-up for Welcome to Hell, just wanted to offer an option for those players that would like to have a game on Saturday with camping on friday, and a paintball free zone.

I have Drill that weekend... but I can tell you guys that this field is going to turn out to be one of the best fields around. I would encourage people to see it first hand ie... play on it :)

Nope, I went out this last weekend to look over the field to see if it could work. hopefully soon, some other things may or may not be happening, just waiting to see. If the other things don't pan out you can expect something.... :)

I'm interested.

I don't think lack of interest has to do with lack of disneylandesque buildings, but more of that no one has played there. I think once skirmishes are held there and people are familiar with the field, interest will grow, especially since it's pretty close to portland and close for those south.

The large field, is that being used for farm land? or is it just empty?

Maybe a little more than half is farming stuff... I would expect in summer things would be growing there.

I hope there is a decent turn out. I am looking forward to a fresh new field and an evening of relaxation and camping. The terrain is actually very accomodating. The snipers will have a hayday for sure.

Well that doesn't sound very appealing! ;)

Can I please have an admin lock this. I am still planning a skirmish on May 2nd, but the thread has seemed to die. If someone could give me some advise on how to restart the thread, it would be appreciated. This game will be pretty much sector control style.

Problem with lack of pictures is because the lighting sucks where the sandbag areas are. I will try to get pics up asap, and the build is going as planned, non-stop.
