Honestly what I saw last weekend... I would rather have Ollie than some of the more "seasoned" players

due it's airsoft pacific, you should know that. :D

And I would think that Ollie and such would be okay on the "bad guy" side as child soldiers. They use them a lot. And what I hear about a few of these guys they would fight just fine, minus looking like child soldiers.

The minium age is 17 but that is for basic the summer between your Jr. and Sr. year you dont do to AIT or anything else realy and you sure as hell wont fight at 17 anymore Alex so in a way KA-BAR is right 18+ for a fighting team. Thats the one part of PACSR I dont know about the South Det. is all 18+ but north end ALOT of 16+ and I totaly aggree with KA-BAR "age and uniforms" but I dont know of any 200 round box mags for a SAW I could slide on the mag requirements.
SILENCE! I kill you. Achmed the dead terriorist

But what would your mission be? Gaurd a building in hopes that it MIGHT get attacked at some point during the day? Escort a dignitary to his meeting after having researched and chosen the safest possible route that won't land you in a firefight?

The whole Private Contractor gig works beautifully when it comes to scripted events like CQC-7, but for an actual Op it's just a copout for people who don't want to invest in an actual military loadout.

I do have to say though, I would love to see a modern milsim event...but for it to happen I think it's going to have to grow from two milsim teams doing multi-day skirms against each other and then inviting like minded people and teams to join them.

Yep, everything is used by current military...except multicam.

But Private Contractor loadouts are still a copout for those that should of stuck with paintball.

I agree, unless your scenario calls for PMCs.

That would be a seriously limited role though. I could see scripted PMC's in an Op, but not one where there is a need for a player based PMC unit.

Multicam is currently in use by some units of the US military's Special Operations Command,
