A little later than what i have promised, here are some new pictures.

I can say that the jacket had seen action and was quite used, but the pants were from a issued but unused set, therefore the color difference.

These pictures were shortened due to server limitations. If anyone want the original picture, pm me the # and an email address. Thanks for looking. 8)

Very cool... I was actually looking up pictures of the Rhodesian Bush Wars last night and am considering putting together an impression of such. I wouldn't be too concerned about one piece being more washed out than the other. Resupply was so limited and the various European, African and mercenary groups were so underfunded that equipment was salvaged, repaired, traded and reused until it completely fell apart. The environmental conditions ... sun, humidity, sand, rough thorn bushes and insects... was absolute hell on clothing.

I used to have a Portugese shirt in that camo pattern.
Digging around last night I found my old Adro reproduction pants in Rhodesian Camo... need to lose a few pounds before I run around in them tho :(

Am happy that you've enjoyed. If you need help with camo patterns, here's a nice help => www.kamouflage.net
The pattern of the Portuguese camo derived from the French lizard. The differences are in the color accents, mainly. South Africa and Viet Nam also used this same pattern and derived products to more or less extent, so it may be possible to find some good pieces with a low value upon them.
Am keeping my fingers crossed ;)
