That's not a problem. I didn't ask for a helmet camera, they're actually not all that exciting outdoors... I probably won't even bring mine, I've been disappointed with the footage I got the last 2 times I rigged it at Splat Action.

As long as the camera is somewhat decent, I can probably make use of the footage.

I have a decent camcorder I might be able to bring along if you need it, Nasty. Does native widescreen, not 100% sure about doing 24p on it though, can check after work. As long as it doesn't get shot in the lens or dropped, it'll be fine. ;)

Mine is massive. I guess 24p isn't a must, it's nice to have. Causes more headaches for editing later due to mixed framerates but I can always shoot in 30 instead.

A good uv/haze filter can help protect the lens.. And is generally a good idea for any camcorder if you want to protect your lens.

Top, some of my team (MVD Vityaz) will make the trip from Spokane for this one. So add 6 to the Cartel please.
I will advise them to print all waivers prior to the event.
I do have one question.

Your rules for FPS are slightly different than SA rules, so I need to clarify on one matter: Are SAW's or SVD's considered into this OP ? And if so, is the FPS the same as the AEG's or are ther higher, yet under the FPS limit of the snipers ?

Thanks
Sean

SVD's would classify under AEG's, and so would SAW's. For the most part, only bolt action rifles count for the sniper rifle FPS max. SVD's and SAW's must be under 400 FPS as they are AEG's, according to AP standards
