Yes, we will have a similar arrangement to what was taking place for the Zombie deal.

We'll have folks sacked out in the extra rooms.

Joe, while I agree that Oregon is an open carry state, there is a defining difference with running around in a motor vehicle with an item that looks just like a firearm....and most of the competitors don't have a CCW (and that only covers hanguns). It's a better safe than sorry program.

Prior to the event, you'll see the grading criteria...so there is no mystery about how you are graded for the event. This is more about the go-nogo grading the military employs, rather than "OH NOES YOU SWEPT ME!" grading of the past. It's more mission based, and that your team is adequately prepared to meet the mission profile and be successful. In the past, we have employed the sink or swim philosophy...today, we are doing our best to help every team succeed in their mission.

Also to add:

We will use the lottery concept for the who goes first program. We'll lock that down a week prior to the event, so everyone can be ready to roll out Saturday morning.

The blocks will start at 7am (you'll be in-process for 2 hours straight...with teams first and second hour overlapping (one will be briefed and be doing backbriefs, Q&A's, and of course rehearsals to get the bugs out, while the other is running the mission)...and run until it is over. For some it could be dark when the shooting happens...that's living in the great NW in the winter...but the way the mission is designed, it will not impede your ability to successfully achieve your mission.

Sweet. Thank you very much, and thank you S-4 for letting us do that.

-Are messenger bags, briefcases, and backpacks OK for the PSD?
-Can we put the principle for the PSD mission in body armor?

-Will the windows of the house we're raiding in the drug bust be open or closed? Drapes and or glass? Can we break the glass?

-Yes....and that's the thinking outside of the box Im talking about

-Yes (I'll even provide it if you want the principle to wear it)

-There will be glass, and no, you can't break it. You'll get a sandtable with a working model for you to wargame up for the first hour of your rehearsal/mission brief ect.

We'll follow the same protocol as the first days mission....with similar, but obviously mission go/no-go grading criteria.

I hope that training runs late, I probably wouldnt be able to make it till close to 9.
Even if i could get in 30 minutes of training i would be happy.

EDIT: on a seperate note, any chance i could pay to get personal training on a seperate day I could take back and show my teammates not fortunate enough to be able to attend the training?

I agree with everything Junto has said recently in this thread. I'm in the same boat.

Yeah well, we do our best...and sometimes that means having to make changes to make the event even better than the original scope.
