By "no insignia or flash" are you saying that team baseball caps are a no-go?

What is the allowable FPS on battle rifles, long guns and automatics for the PSD scenario?

The Vehicle lock box, how big is it? Will it be actually locked and if so what kind of lock? Where is it located in the SUVs? On the sedan where is it located?

On the SWAT scenario, will we be briefed on the layout of the building? What is the area around it like? (To plan placement of possible spotter or sharpshooter)

1. Flash is fine

2. for the PSD will still use 330fps. (Do not shoot cars)

3. Yes, you'll as briefed as possible on the layout of the building. (In the building set up, no ranged markemen will be useable)

I am trully astounded by how well all the teams have picked up the torch for this and are adapting to the senerio!

Vehicle lock box will be anything from a gun case to a rolling drawer that requires the rear of the vehicle to be open.

Our goal is to accomodate any battle rifle you may bring and feel you "need" to complete the senerio.

Note for clarification: Bolts will be under the same rules as battle rifles. Locked up.

We did some wargaming on the distances individuals will be shooting and the ranges dictate that we won't need outdoor velocities. You can easily knock fools down with indoor speeds.

330fps will STILL BE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

OUTDOOR VELOCITIES are strongly discouraged. This is for the safety of the equipment and the actors.

If you have a question about specifics, contact me via PM.

Are we going to get any briefing on the UC scenario? Seems like all the focus is on the Close Protection aspect of the competition.

So for the close protection scenario I have to buy something other than my $200 body armor just so I can bleeding hide it under clothes? I bought a boatload of gear for competing this time around and now I get to use it for an hour on one day of the comp and afro-engineer some sort of BS for the more violent scenario.

*shakes head* What a bleeding waste.

You'll get both. The first day is getting the most press, because it has the most questioned asked about it. It's the biggest unknown and untested program.

Day two is business as usual.

I've already stated the things the teams need to have set up.

We're building the sand-table for the event as we speak. It's a pretty serious project. We're trying to go tacticool so you guys can tabletop the rehearsals prior to going out....for both scenarios.

Junto,

I understand your feeling.

The nice thing about Quality gear is that you can use it for years to come. Belive me when I say: If you dig the Exec protection senerio there is a good chance you will see more of it involved in the future.

There are alot of people that don't have the right kit for a pertcular mission. Most guys that " do it fer a livin" only have to have a kit for what they do. That being said, we are airsofters and we try to be EVERY Tactical operator.

Even the biggest gear whore will not have a kit for every possable mission.

Thank you for the effort you are putting into this, The imersion of the event will pay off.

On another note.

The Day one mission is so different from anything an airsofter has ever experienced in the civilian world that we are focusing on it so as to make it as entertaining, challenging and as well produced as possable.

Day two is actually a mission prepped and rehursed at length for the original iteration of the BSP Challenge. It is super tight and all there is left for it is a OpOrd you will see soon.

Remember, you are about to participate in an event that will most likely be named game of the year.

Our goal is to make this event something you will be able to brag about attending.

Airsofter 1 " I went to Lion Claws!
Airsofter 2 " Dood I was at Op: ireane #76"

Airsofter 1 and 2 to you " What have you done lately?"

You: " I competed in the BSP Challenge."

Airsofter 1 and 2 drop to there knees and begin performing...

the kit for scenario one should be simple. you dont have to be "suited" up looking like a quido or a secret service agent.......jeans and a snowboarding jacket with conceal just as well as a sports coat.

pull a napolean dynamite and go to the thrift stores and get some funky a$$ seventys polyester, and you are golden.
I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

Or....not.

Maybe go dressed in standard clothing...even take a few looks at what is "average" dress in Ireland today to better fit in.....and Im not talking about kilts.

Being camoflauged, doesn't necessarily mean wearing camoflauge.
