While I didn't appreciate the blue sniper repeatedly taking head shots, it was over all a good day.

I'm pretty sure they took it back shortly after...

Our lack of motivation and constant sitting in the "deadpool" kind of left the door open fo rthem.

the dead pool for red team reminded me of Cypriot Ridge, disgusting lack of player determination. If you just wanted to come out and chat that's cool just don't take the tape denoting that you have chosen a side. Sit up by the cars and yap all ya want. Several of us were leaving quarts of blood on the field only to find a majority of "our side" pulling pud at respawn. At least you called your hit I guess thats better than nothing.

Cool game concept Nocte and all others involved. It was alot of fun at first...
The concept has potential, and is somewhat of a new idea and new ideas are very difficult to come up with. At the very least a good twist of an old concept. KUDOS to you.

Some of us have been doing this for many years.
So, when we come to 'skirmish' games, we tend to get lax and talk a bit. If that is "disgusting" to you, that's too fuckin' bad. You can phony pony when it comes to operation games. Skirmishes are just for trigger time. If you were the one that was constantly bitching about those sitting around, as I heard this from the same guy repeatidly, you ruined the time for some of us, and honestly, made me want to sit there even longer just out of spite.

Most of us are out there for fun, we don't give a shit about winning anything.

Hell, some of my best memories of airsoft are from time spent in the deadpool.

Kinda ruins it for the guys who came to play, the numbers are all evened up at the start of the game, then the chatty kathy's sit in the CP and talk, effectively making it a dozen to one on the field.

Yeah, but that's life. I don't come to games so people can count their kills and feel all special inside for "winning". I come to enjoy myself. No one should have to go "sit at the cars" if they want to sit in the deadpool for a few minutes while they talk to their friends.

I wasn't the one bitchin about it during the game, just now. I don't really care about "winning" but I do care about the honor of the guys standing next to me giving it their all.

I understand this is a game and doesn't have a large impact on the grand scheme of things.

The thing about it is some of us don't get as much trigger time as we would like. We come from far away(relatively) to play airsoft with friends not just talk about playing, or our weapons etc... This forum is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year, that should be enough I would think for talking to friends. We only get to set time aside to shoot once in a while and when we do we try to use that valuable time for shooting mofo's. If it was just a couple of minutes in the deadpool then of course that would have been cool, but that is not what I saw. I saw several of us fighting our asses off, taking a hit and rolling to the deadpool only to see the same guys stiil there.

After the first game I stopped caring about the flags, seeing how our team was doomed in the point aspect. I focused on sending as many blues back to which they came as I could and had a great time doing so.[/i]

Sorry mate but when all I have to shoot is a little head poking out from the side of the tree its kinda hard not too.

Its not like I just want to shoot people in the head. I would prefer I could always get a body shot but it just doesn't happen like that.

Ditto for AEG's too.
I prefer center of mass but if all your giving me is your head as a target then that's what I'm going to shoot at.

The only exception would be if my target appears to be a zombie. Don't call your hit and I'll adjust my fire towards your face. That typically works, and even if it doesn't it always makes me feel better.

I had a few times I was hot in the chest by a sniper, when my head was a more clear target. So other than the general annoyance of them, I have little to complain about. Another time I was in a trench, saw two kids. lined up the SAW, 2 rounds out and the battery died, then smack, square in the forehead. Which of course, was the only thing showing of me, but at a good enough distance that it didn't really hurt after a second or two. Generally I find getting shot in the head w/ a bolt rifle is better than an AEG. Bolts usually only leave one mark... AEGs leave many and are usually closer.

I do have a praise for a player. He was on the parking lot side of the road circling around our assend, shot one of our guys as I was walking to get some more ammo(i had one 30rd mag left with who knows how many of those 30rds actually in it). I tried sneaking up on him and he saw me, we traded rounds back and forth for a minute. He was hiding behind a tree, and just when I figured i'd have to give up due to lack of ammo, he called hit... which I was surprised. Turns out I got him in the knuckle... lucky shot. but kudos to that kid for calling it.

Only "getting shot" complaint was while laying in the bushes, I was shot from the side and somewhat close range in the side of the face... I still have a nice big welt below my temple.

It is all good times at skirmishes. No ball busting orders, just good times.

Good images too.
