He got it muddy by leaving it in a flooded house.

Sure. Has anyone here ever seen this done on a gun before. In the movie Black Hawk Down, some of the DELTA have there CAR-15's with a 'mud' look on them like that.

I actually haven't, but it does look 'natural'. :) If someone could get a paint job to turn out like that, it probably would work fairly well.

Exactly! That really couldn't be considered a pattern. It looks natural and it would work no doubt about it. If only I knew how...

With the proper use of an airbrush....you can get that look. Let me see what I can do for a mock up.

I would appreciate it. I don't have an airbrush so I can't experiment and see how that would work out.

You just always have to copy me, don't you?

We played a game at the vernonia forest site this one time and I set my rife down. I didn't realize how sticky the mud was, but it stuck to the whole side of the rifle. I kind of actually liked the look of it.

Maybe it's the flash or lighting, but it looks a little too light... more like you were baking ;)

A good idea is a good idea ;)
The flash DOES make it look lighter than it is.

That's pretty cool, It would take along time but it would look alot better with a larger number, but smaller squares.
