Here's mine... It's the first thing I've spraypainted that wasn't a solid color.

It took a lot of nerve to actaully go through with it, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I decided not to go for a stencil design and just freehand it. Seems more "authentic" to me that way.

And it's hard to tell, but there's actaully 2 browns in it... The paint caps were a bit missleading, so next time I try this I'll look for a different light color.

Now hopefully it will actaully serve its purpose!

They are not illegal to own with out the orange tip... they are illegal to IMPORT without.

With that said, I have been removing the orange from my replicas for going on 13 years now.

Isnt it illegal to travel across state lines without one?

Depends on the states jurisdiction and the states willingness to prosecute....

Sorry to keep this thread derailed, but, that doesn't solve any problems. The laws state the blaze orange markings must not be removable. Hence why it is painted, molded, powder coated, or whatever else they do. Yes, you don't need it after it has been purchased, but according to the law, you should not be able to remove the orange (I know that you can, I'm just saying what the law states).

To get the thread back on topic, another of my m14:
