Seriously, do you guys want him to call it the NOT-BSP CQC Competition?

Easy big fella.
I have no desire to see you fail.
I neither stated nor implied such.

The intent of my post was not to dissuade interest from your event.
Regarding my statement "There are no other affiliations," I was meaning in regards to BSP.
Perhaps it was arrogant thinking on my behalf but I perceived Mono's post as if he were under the impression that a familiar face was hosting. Since only WAR, AP and BSP have hosted CQC competitions in the past, it had to be one of the three.
Your event announcement seemed fairly clear to me that you were the event promoter. Period.

There was no malice in my post.
I'm not sure why you perceived it as such.
I was merely offering a clarification to Mono's apparent misconception in regards to BSP.

I wish you nothing but luck in your ventures.

Chapped,

This is not the first time today that someone from BSP made a comment that could have been perceived even worse. I was not the only one who caught the vibe, because others chimed in. I was fortunate enough to have someone delete it out so we could keep this thread about the event, and if people are going to get excited about it, let them.

Mono has been here before. He loves our place (at least he said so) and perhaps he has enough faith to believe that we will be able to put on a "legendary" experience.

I am shooting for "fun".

I am learning quickly that there are plenty of people in this community that will be one way to your face, and crap on you to anyone else. I am not saying this is you, but if we are going off of perception, which I admit I shouldnt do, then all I have to go on, is how cool you have been to me in the past, and then after what happened with the other guy, have almost the same exact thing happen a couple hours later, you might be able to understand that your comment may have come off like one less thing I really needed to deal with today.

So instead of having this get deleted immediately, if you are saying that you were purely clarifying that BSP is not promoting the event (which has been done so adamantly that it makes me nearly think I was in bad graces with BSP, which if for some reason I am I didnt know it.) then I owe you an apology, and I am sincerely sorry for jumping your case.

Ignore my BSP signature and reread my first post.

That dog wasn't barking nearly as loud as you thought eh?
Apology accepted.
Peace!

I have a couple questions

1 - is there going to be a change to the facilities to simulate buildings, or is it going to be the speedball course that we've all seen?
2 - if there is that change, is it going to be permanent?

Very good question Alex. We are putting the finishing touches on the remodel right now. We are trying everything we can do to have it ready for tomorrow games.

No more speedball. Ever. No it will not be permanent, our layouts will never be permanent, they will always change, hopefully they will always be better.

For the competition. The layout we are working on now will be fit for the game, but there is a major possibility that we will overhaul it again just so it will be a layout you have never seen before. Our competitions will always be the unveiling of our new playfield.

Unfortunately our new field will be ready before we are ready to host the event.

Hope this answers your question

Hmm, I didn't feel compelled to chime in to let mono know that AP wasn't involved. If people consider PTOC legendary, then that's good :)

There hasn't been a CQC competition in some time. Go to this event, compete, have fun!

PTOC.... if you are interested in some possible floorplans.... I can generate some. Just send me a PM.

Having done many shoot houses and training areas there are some layouts that could be placed into categories...such as "beginner", "Intermediate", and "Expert".

 Yawn, Another pissing match between people that are all pulling the same direction, What a joke. I didn't read the offensive thread but I can assure PTOC that I appriciate them pushing forward and providing new and exiting events for the community as a whole.

That being said...

If you need a hand with Acting, Scoreing, Admin, Ect please feel free to contact me.

If not thats cool, I will find a few guys with Guns that could use a shooter in there stack.

Either way i will try my damndest to be onsite for the event.

More Shoot, Less drama.

That is all.

Thank you so much for the offer, we just completely remodeled the layout for the time being, and plan on changing it again in time. I will PM you very soon, I also have something else I need to ask you about, so expect to hear from me soon.

Thanks again.
