PTOC: AIRSHOW

Postby Portland Tactical » Thu Aug 07, 2008 9:01 pm

Are you going to the airshow? Are you going to pay for parking?

PTOC will be providing airshow parking slots for Saturday and Sunday to the public. Yes we will also be open for games.

Parking is $10.00 unless you are registering to play. If you come to park for the airshow, you will receive $10.00 off your next visit to PTOC. So technically its free!

Dont want to pay for the airshow? We have the best seats in the house. Come hang out with us Friday night Saturday or Sunday. We will be grilling food and enjoying the show.

See you there.

So is the view from there better than the view from the Giant field in front of the max station?

Oh and do you have some shade to offer?

If so I may just come and hang out there instead of where we usually do (in the giant field)

If you are referring to the field I am thinking of, then yes. Our property is directly connected to the airfield, the runway is about 150 yards away from our fence.

There are hangars impeding the view of some things on the ground (which I dont think you would see from the field) but anything in the air I would say we have the best view in town apart from being inside the airport property.

We have some shade. cold beverages, and food. (for sale but cheaper than you will get at the airshow)

not at all. Bring your own food, drinks, kids, family etc. If you bring a car, you must pay to park, you will get a voucher for games, but if you walk in that is an option too!! no charge to hang out.

Would it be alright if, say I played and my family watched the airshow? Would we still have to pay parking or wold the game fee cover it?

game fee would cover. you would just use your voucher immediately.

FYI, anyone staying to watch the show, that may have never been here before. our facility is a warehouse. you may want to bring whatever you need to make yourself comfortable.

we have some chairs, but not many, and some tables.

Also, tomorrow night is the fireworks show, you are welcome to hang out for that as well. No charge for parking, and of course the grill will be open. if you want to chip $2.00 for the grill space and gas you can bring your own meat too. We have a huge grill theres plenty of room for everyone.

Sure, Friday Saturday, and Sunday, If you bring meat for $2.00 you can toss it on our grill. Bring some for your whole family. It's all good.

I can vouch for the view, it looks like you'll be nearly under the action. ;)

Speaking of view, you may want to come take new pics. Arena is getting a complete makeover.

PTOC is located basically directly behind the tower, on the other side of the fence. They are not actually on the airport.
