KWAs dont shoot faster than 330 even if they are new, unless they have a hi flow valve.

Ok let me clarify for all of you.

This is a private event, so it will be based on their FPS limits which I can only assume will be 330 using .20.

As far as face protection, I will also leave that up to the promoter, but in my opinion minimum protection should be okay meaning eye protection. I would recommend full face protection, but since ricochets and TK's will be unlikely but I am sure it is better to be safe.

Anything loose on your face should be fine. Again this is a private game promoted by a private party. Their rules will apply, so if they say AP rules, than AP rule it is.

If anyone has any comments, questions or concerns about PTOC's safety standards for generaly play, please contact me directly.

Thank you,

PTOC Staff

i though PTOC was running the game, it states that Gensis is a ptoc subsidiary?

if ptoc is not running the event then who is?

We are working together on the project. And to be clear for all, I will speak for the event.

The FPS rules will be AP Standard, and Eye protection is required. What you do to protect the rest of your face is totally up to you.

sorry about causing alot of confusion...

reminder:
this competitionis for FOUR MAN TEAMS.
if you want to have more than four participate you are more than welcome to split your team up into multiple squads.

i.e. you have an eight member team you can have an "A" group and a "B" group.

To clarify and assure:

There will be NO AEG's provided that exceed 330 FPS with .20's.

Eye AND FACE protection is REQUIRED until further notice.

Thank you.

on the information post it says that both is requried and will stay so until if and when Thoma (haloeclipse) tells me otherwise.

I have never said that face protection was optional.

Might I suggest that you have one point of major contact for the game? Right now you've got two AP members, one dupe account (which is fine, although I hope I haven't started a precedent for that), and PTOC posting on behalf of this game in relation to the rules.

This seems to be causing confusion.

As Ian stated, SOTA will be in for two full stacks (8 guys). There is a slight possibility that it may reach three stacks, but it is unlikely.
