i would think they are fine, they are double folded, and then when wrapped they are off the face to absorb the hits better

the reason i doubt about the shemaghs is they're more like regular cloth if i'm thinking right and that wouldnt give very good cushion from a bb hitting you in the face at 300-350 fps.

why would anyone be using a gun that's as high as 350?

did i miss a rules change?

ptoc lets guns shoot up to 350 fps because some companies are making their cqb weapons shoot that fast stock - straight from the owner's mouth.

speed or having a gun was not an issue for me, i wanted clarification on the face protection. i ask, because i do not use face protection at all, and i wanted to know why it was required, and if it remains then i wanted to know if i could use a shemagh as face protection

i dont have a problem with using the shemagh.

but once again, keep in mind that we may ask you to use another form of face protection (most likely one of the full face masks PTOC rents out) if Thoma or PTOC's owner deems it not fit.

I'm still not sure why face pro is required at all, even with ricochets. I get full seal eyewear, but there is a pick of Duke with a bb inside his full seal goggles.
