Genesis Corp. and the Lazarus research project

...using a recessive gene found in the now ineffectual ebola virus, researchers at Genesis Corp. have converted this aggresive death dealer into a relentless agent of life. Taking this modified viral strand and introducing it to dead and dying cells it acts in an almost violent take over. This gene known at Genesis Corp. as, Lazarus, forces the cells to continue functioning long after normal cell life should have ceased.

The current difficulty in handling this gene is its uncanny ability to mutate and adapt to the genome it has been attached to, as well as a few...unsettling side effects when introduced to neurons. However the Genesis Corp. is upbeat about its research, and if they maintain the persistance they have shown in the past, this could very well prove to be the next step in the evolution of the human genome...

if not, i'd like to put Black Wolf down for a spot. i don't really care which time slot... november 1st would probably work better.

My guess is you'll find additional ammo in the game, and can fill whatever extra empty mags you have.

We are locking down the exact times this game will be played, as of right now, it is too early to claim a spot. As soon as we start taking teams, we will let you know. So you have some time to try and get 3 buddies to join you.

AEP's are perfectly fine. Ammo will be scarce, but more will be available in security rooms and on dead or infected security guards. The exact amount of ammo you start with is currently TBA, but right now it is looking to be 50 rounds at the start per player (200 rounds for a team) you will want enough mags to carry extras. 3 mags should be enough for your pistol, but it is ultimatley up to you to decide how many you have.

Multiple pistols is ok, however you will start with as much ammo as everyone else. If you dont have a pistol, send a message to genesis corp. and we will get back to you. There are right now, 2 pistols available with 3 mags each. The intent behind this game is to attract EVERYONE no matter how much or how little gear you got. Pistols can be loaded fully.

There are guns to be found in the Genesis Corporation security rooms. These guns will be found ready to use with the only mags for that gun. You will not be looking for mags in the facility, only speed loaders. The sole exception is for the shotguns inside the facility. Since they use 3 bbs each time the trigger is pulled, the would be a ammo hog, so you will find preloaded shells. Genesis Corp guns will use real capacity loadouts.

shotguns are a no go to begin with. sidearms only.

as you may have guessed from thoma's post above, there will be one that can be found during play however.
