You don't think that a person will say anything to get someone to stop? Yes, I have never been to Iraq, and have never witnessed a "information gathering session", but it does not prove my point wrong or null. If someone is faced with "aggressive" interrogation techniques, lets say water boarding, the person will at some point tell the interrogators what they want to hear. Sure, if you sit me in a nice room and and repeatedly ask me if I'm the King of Bulgaria, (reference to last post), I will repeatedly deny it. But if you to subject me to water boarding, at some point I will fully admit being the King of Bulgaria. My point was that you can make someone say whatever you want them to say. And just because I have never been to Iraq doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Sorry to be jacking thread. If anyone wants to separate this to another thread go ahead, I would love to have a civil debate over this topic.

That being the case then what would the exact point of interrogation be? If you're just going to tell them what to say yes and no to then you're not getting any new info. All you're doing it kidding your self, and possibly putting you and your team in danger due to false intel.

Unless you're trying to get someone to admitting to something you can twist all the arms you want. You're not going to get any good info...
