I like the guy.

He can stand right up and tell it like it is.

He was right.

Knuckles got :learn:

It happens.

Thank you, incubus, for making me a better person.
Please buy your gear from Rick Fisher; perhaps he can buy a Life.

Nocte wrote:Fogging doesn't occur because of a lack of air circulation, it happens when you have one warm, humid side of a material and one cold side. The warmer, humid air will 'stick' to the cooler surfaces of the mask. The lenses are cooled from the outside air, and the evaporating sweat and your deep husky breaths provide the warm humid air.

All gask masks fog - they are designed to NOT ventilate outside air/gases to the interior of the mask. I'd suggest meshing out the lenses to avoid this, if you really want to wear a gas mask. This does look a little weird, because the functionality of the mask (even in the pretend-world of airsoft) is clearly compromised.

My gas mask doesn't fog. High quality gas masks won't because they don't stop outside air from coming in, they filter it. Thats what a gas mask does. Filters. Not block.

Just to throw that out there. I only wear gas masks when I play, fits my role, and I think balaclavas suck. Don't fit my style. :]

I wore a gas mask before, gets a bit hot, and because you're breathing, you have the humid air going out and the dryer air coming in. So it fogs and de-fogs periodically. I did get some nice goggles recently, they're labeled 100% fog proof, and I tried breathing on them and there's no fog whatsoever. I'll have to wait to skirm before I have truly conclusive results.

CQC 5 I think it was we had to wear S-10 gas mask, I was amazed at how they didn't fog on me, only because everything fogs on me. I'm assuming, the Gas masks that seal your mouth off, from the rest of the mask don't fog or fog little.
