Sometimes when I get hungry, I get a little (more so than some people with a similar problem) shaky in my hands. On Saturday and Sunday. I was starving the whole day. I was told that there was suppose to be food (chips and cookies don't count as food) provided. For the most part I was just miserable. But I stayed, I really wanted some good photos.

I start looking through many of my photos this morning and realized that many photos have been ruined by terrible camera shake, and some the "would be Bad a$$ photos". So, I am just pissed right now. Because it not only effects me but AP.
Being starved with shaky hands and trying to take photos is bad news. I recall having to give money to some of the other staff and players to go down to the Food mart and grab me a sandwich. I also know that I wasn't the only one that can't survive on chips and cookies. many actors and staff were making way to get food as well.

I don't want to sound like a little phony pony or whiny photog or make excuses that my photos may or may not come out as good as Mike's and Aaron's. As many of the AP community know me,I take decent photos and I rarely get upset about anything and if I do... I resolve mature and respectful with a good outcome.

Though, I think everything else want really well. And CQC6 was the best one yet by far... I am just greatly disappointed in how many of my photos turned out, as I see this a once in a life time event.

So, boys and girls, I will have to pull out the photoshop so I can fix many of the photos. Hence you are going to get less photos from me and I am going to take my sweet as time to post them.

 Cry baby! And you couldn't have been that hungry after that mean a$$ rim job you gave matt on sunday!

Hey, he had it coming. You only saw one of the three "Hit Lists". One was a grocery list, and the other was a list of songs. Greatest hits=Hit list

Awesome event. Thanks to Black Sierra for putting this on and letting me act. Surprising how fun sitting in an ammo cache and getting shot up by all the teams can be. :D

My personal props go out to GOAT, for being the quietest team to coming up to our room, and Postman, for pulling out that wicked-1337 ninja shit when it was needed. :)

One final brag on your team in the LE scenario.

I'm not sure how many BB's your team fired upon entry but:

No one on your team shot the hostages, they thought that was a plus.

I was killed with a single BB to the face, instead of 30-50 BB's to my entire body.

You got a hostage out alive.

Excellent REAL LIFE fire control on the part of your team!

Of course, that doesn't account for over penetration had the rounds been real...

It was an MP5, and there was a (brick) wall behind his head. Over penetration would not have been an issue.

The .45 rounds he was shooting at me would also have been stopped by my rear plate therefore saving my men behind me from possible (but unlikely) overpenetration from a .45.

Gary, thanks for the kudos. The shooter was Ben or "Fish". He's a new guy and a friend of jmanlp. That was his 1st airsoft event and I owe him a beer for both the head shot, and the fire control.
Please buy your gear from Rick Fisher; perhaps he can buy a Life.

Is that pic operational or just a pose?

The time/adjusted time measure had very much to do with being capable of fulfilling the mission perameters in a timely fashion with few mistakes. Mistakes increase time. I feel it is a more understandable and more straight forward than the older system, thus the reason I reformed the process.

I know time is important but if you take your time and do it perfectly that would be better than rushing in and maybe killing a hostage. With the time scale bum rushing was maybe a better tchnique. But I'm not too sure. I didnt know how everything was graded.

True, being very sound in your tactics and not making mistakes is better than being fast and lucky or making mistakes, and the way the scoring was rigged, making mistakes was generally more costly than being slow and meticulous. However, the team that can go through an even without making a mistake, and then do it fast as well, will most certainly shine in such a competition. I personally like this method much better, since a team that practices and knows CQC inside and out will most certainly show in the standings. The teams that did well weren't the fastest teams, they were the ones who made the fewest mistakes and had the best success on primary objectives.

Ya the stack was posed.... It is not easy to get 12 guys that are on a short time frame to do everything exactly right, the photos are just for kicks any way. Had there been more time and had it been a paid gig, attention to detail would have been exercised.

Sorry for screwing it all up, gonna go hang my self now....

It's not a critism of the photo.
From what I've seen so far your photos are the shit!
Can't wait to see more.
