Just because you are going to Ft. Jackson, does not mean you will be around people from around Ft. Jackson. And if you are going for OSUT, you will not leave base often.

No, i meant the people going to Jackson. Mostly tech and MI last time i checked, and we have a reputation for things like that. (i wasn't referring to rednecks, they know far more about cars and lumber than i ever could)Nope, not lucky enought to be OSUT, after basic i go to Huachuka (or however it's spelled) in the middle of freaking Arizona.
