A few points that you'll probably ignore, but are important nonetheless:

1: Spell Check. Seriously, it's your friend. Same with some form of grammar checker to catch your screw-ups. If you can't be bothered to use proper spelling and grammar, why should someone be bothered to join your "team"?

2: SWAT / SF? So, you're a mix of unconventional warfare and high-risk Law Enforcement tactics? These are pretty much mutually exclusive groups as far as weapons, equipment, and tactics go. For example, SF guys are generally trained in a whole lot of life-taking skills, and not so much in policing. And most SWAT teams don't do a whole lot of work teaching counter-insurgency tactics to third-world peasants. I mean, yes, SWAT are the "bad asses" of the LE world, and SF are the "bad asses" of the door-kicker world. But being that good requires specialization; in training, in tactics, and in gear.

3: If you can't bother to obey community rules online (like, for example, your sig bar) it tells the community that you are unlikely to follow the rules on the field.

In conclusion, consider showing out at games for a while with your friend, and see if there is an existing team that you are willing to join (and is willing to have you). Work on meeting like-minded folks in the community, finding a place to train at, and watch what goes into making a team work (or fail, as the case may be). That'll make it a ton easier when you try to start a team again in a few years.

The proliferation of "micro-teams" has probably done more to fragment the hobby than just about anything else I can think of. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

Wow, scrolling to see a sig bar, christ almighty thats huge! I'm going to echo everything Steve said minus the micro-teams part as I'm the co-founder of one that split from a larger one. If your team does succeed, great, and I hope that happens.

I don't know where or when to show up. But I'm interested. I'll be at the Horde and Lords of War IV. I use DMR's and Pistols. as for a number, I'll go with anything under eleven. I don't like long callsigns.

A small team is less likely to be seen by the enemy. I've also been on a team before, and also been to a couple of game before here on AP but under a different name. The sig bar thing, I honestly just notice that today so I'm changing it. I did change the the SWAT/SF to just SF.
