Best thing to do if you want to join a team - show up to games and big operations, introduce yourself and run with a few different teams and figure out which one you like & they'll get to know you as well. Good luck and welcome to AP.

This.

But really, I just like the word "douche". It is fun to say. Try it, say it out loud. Say it a few times in a row. My other favorite word is "fjord". Try that one out too, as it is another fun one to say.

Cut to the chase........dont care about the tude impression, show up, and show us your stuff. check out the PLA training this weekend . 30-40 people working to get their stuff together on a large scale. If you can make it I think you will like what you see. We (PLA) are getting serious about milsim. there are squads scattered all over the area ( Salem -Portland -Dalles). training, food fun, night op, pistol match....what more could you ask for........maybe hot and cold running blondes? Get some!

You need to keep up on the boards, and get to trainings.

All the trainings since march have been on team level reacting to contact, land NAV, and comm's(Small basic stuff) weapon handling, marksmen ship, drills, working on bounding, using bounding to take on enemy positions, and broken platoon level engagements. A lot of other things we are learning that you have missed out. And we have a whole section dedicated to milsim discussion on our forum's.

You are missing a lot man, i know we already talked about this.

In fact, My favorite part about last training (APRIL) was at the end of the day, we put our skills to the test on a lightly gaurded (9 defender's, 20 attackers split in two groups) village. we cleared the village out in just around 2 minutes. Granted it was defended by airsofter's and not the way James would have wanted to too, which would have stopped us and we would all be dead.

To the OP, We hope you can make it out, its always nice to see and meet new people on the field, ignore the haterade on here and get some!

I started with PLA in march based on an invitation. It has been a steady progression towards military tactics since then. Come see whats going on, I have not met you yet, 1/4 (I'm the squad leader) is hosting this months installment in Salem this weekend, come on Down..Free breakfast Sunday Morn.

Not exactly the responses i expected, and forgive me for sounding like a douche. I guess I was being too assertive for the crowd. Oh, and to PLA cap'n'pickels thank you for responding, I promise I'll look at your site first. The point of this thread is to give me a way to contact teams in this area and find feilds so my girlfriend and I can find a place to play and contribute to a good team. Anything posted on this thread that is irrelevant will be disregarded as "spam" from here on out. "So it is said, so it has been written" -Papi
