Do I keep hosting my airsoft photos?

Postby Fred » Fri Jan 04, 2013 1:28 pm

I would like to know if there is any interest in me keeping my website up. Annual payment it due in a couple of days ($60). As some of you know, I have been unemployed and no paid photo gigs. Going back to school on top of that, so I would be pushing it to pay that.
I am not asking for money, a job, or suggestion of alternative hosting options. As I have not taken very many photos of games last year. :(
However, once the site is gone... It is gone and the photos with it. They will be archived on my computer but that is it.

Also, for those who have had interest in me taking photos of their weddings this year. I hope you do not take this personally, but money is getting really tight and I may need to sell some of my gear. If it comes to this, I will not be able to photograph any weddings. I hope some of you can understand and forgive me.

For those who not know my website. It is http://evisionphotos.smugmug.com/Airsoft

There's plenty of free (to you) places to host the photos. If you aren't making money on your site, you may as well not have it. Just host the pics you do take somewhere that doesn't charge you, and if someone wants to buy one they can talk to you.

Once it goes down, I do not plan on re-uploading any photos. Just as you say, I am not making any money, and seeing there doesn't seem to be much interest at this time. It just isn't worth my time.
