I would love to play in the Great China Mall or the SSC in Texas. I know I never will, but it was cool to think about.

How about a old psychiatric hospital.
OMSI would be cool.

Locally you could get into Trojan, 2 or 3 large office buildings still standing there, plus the entire grounds and lakes.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty

I think a construction site that is abandoned would be cool. If we played at Bank of america tower, Isnt the Portland city grill up at the top? If so we could eat there. Then play on the bottom 29 floors.

How about a island in the middle of the Willamette or Colombia. I seen a few on Google maps that look to be decent size.

It's the US Bank Corp Tower, not BofA.
If B of A has a building I believe it's 2nd and Morrison.

Portland City Grill is on the 30th floor. The building only has 43 floors. The only place that would be cool to play in that building would be Miller/Nash's office as it is 3 floors with nice stairs between them.

There is a group of people called Urban Explorers. They go in to take photos and all sorts of things. However many of them do research and ask permission to take photos of the sites. It is possible to request permission to use these abandoned sites legally, and that should be explored. I am not to proud to admit I have played before AEGs were under 700-800$ and the only online distributor that could be found was redwolf. Although back then I was working with springer, and working on some skill sets we picked up in the military. Dumb I know but fun none the less. Now days though you can ask permission from a older person, build a waiver that makes them not libel from a attorney and they will let you use your land.

Costco would be awesome. It would be fun to climb the shelves, or burst out of a pile of packaged toilet paper and ambush a squad.

Actually, people have already hosted games in the ruins of Chernobyl. It was based on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, which is about as cool as it gets.

Ghost towns and abandoned places are awesome, for sure (RIP Strikezone), but they're liability nightmares.

If people weren't so sue happy, it wouldn't be an issue. But we've sadly become an overly litigious population and it's why we can't have nice things.

Also, all I can think about now is being on the roller coaster in the China mall with one of those 6 shot grenade launchers and raining down death as the coaster goes screaming by.

The old Fairview Training Center in Salem is an OSP shoot house. Too bad they keep tearing buildings down and you can get on the property.
