There are 110 thousands of airsoft guns carried by two containers. China custom patrol intercepted those airsoft guns in Swatow city, Guangdong Province and arrested three suspects during China National Holidays. Total 113,000pcs of airsoft guns were seized, which is largest gun-involved crime in the last decade. Based on official news from China custom patrol, they caught those simulated guns when they were under transportation to port after loaded at a local market in Swatow. It might be awhile, but airsoft will surely bounce back again. I might have to hold off on that new GBB M712 they recently made, but there is no need to cry "the sky is falling".

Guess we'll have to build them in America and pay three times the price. Shit, it'll be just like the old days. Except that was Japan, but the price was still 3 times as much :)

It doesn't bother me. I like my guns made in HK, Taiwan or Japan.

And even the Chinese market wont be gone for too long (if at all). For one of the worlds last communist nations, china is incredibly capitalist. I think this is the same thing everyone kept saying like 3 or 4 months ago when there was that huge customs seizure. They got over that just fine.

As it was stated the best guns are made in HK,Taiwan, and Japan. I'm not worried. Maybe if the Chinese clones are not as available, then we will see a cut back in the noobish players who cheat and make the hobby less enjoyable?

Think of it this way, cheaper airsoft guns meant that any shitbag can buy a gun and shazaam up the sport for us. Retarded cum dumpsters will be more disinclined to shell out the dough when the prices go up. I don't play anymore, doesn't bother me one bit.
