Basic AEG Maintenance

Postby Tin Man » Sun Aug 08, 2010 8:56 pm

I know next to nothing about even the most basic aspects of AEG maintenance, and I was curious to see if there were any guides you could point me toward or, even better, any classes that may be happening.

A little side note; guitar cleaning tools have actually worked quite well for me. I.e. string cleaning cloths, guitar polish, etc.

I've found Mechbox.com to be the most useful for takedown/maintenance videos. There's a lot on youtube and whatnot, but sometimes it's hard to make out what's going on in some of them. Mechbox was an invaluable resource when i went through my first AEG upgrades and maintenance.
