ROGUE INVASION

Let me be clear about a few things before I promote this event so that there is no discrepency. I do not own this field, my team does not own this field nor are we recieving ANY proffit from this game. Neither myself or my teamates recieving any personal or monetary gain from this event. I can't speak for the rest of Southern Oregon airsofters, but I know personally, I want to see an event with potential like this grow to be as big as the ones up north and I want to see the community down here expand.

The Field on Lind road is in my opinion very similar to the "Splatt Action" field In Molalla minus all the nasty goopy paint. The environments range from flat open field to flat forest land with little underbrush and full overhead coverage. The land hosts 2-3 villages with a full military compound about the size of a small firebase constructed out of quonset huts and plywood walls. The villages have three to four buildings made out of plywood with one or two rooms, one building known as the "Hotel" has four rooms. I don't know the exact acerage but it is all 100% airsoft and nothing else.

I've only played and been on the land with all the new structures for a few hours but It was very very cool and regardless of how much attention this event gets, I am very much looking forward to playing at it this weekend.

I sincerely hope that many of you from up north decide to make the commute, come down to Grant's Pass and enjoy the game. The camping is going to be loads of fun and the game will be even more fun.

For those who wanted more visual I have some photos I took of the field on photobucket, the link is below. There are only a few but hopefilly these will give you a decent idea of the couple places I was talking about. I didn't get a chance to shoot any of the other villages or the open fields but this is the main village and army base.

Yes, this field is definitely worth the effort of getting down here. The structures are realllly fun to play in.
