Might have a new field.

I know someone who owns about 50 acres of woodland around an hour or so away from Yakima, WA. I was thinking of hosting an operation. Would you be willing to come? NOTE: This isn't definite I'm just seeing who would be willing to come so I can't give very many details.

Personally, I'd go, but it'd have to be something a bit out of the ordinary and special to warrant a 3 1/2 hour drive to Yakima.

An hour away from Yakima in which direction?

Before trying to host an "operation," how about just having a regular game? Take some photos of the field during the game, try the field out. Once people see those and get excited, then worry about planning an OP.

I'll take some pictures and get a basic idea of what is going to go down and report later. Also its about an hour to the west is all I know. If I get an op put together in the future and make it really nice. (Organized, BBQ, Outhouse, Raffle, ETC.) How many people do you think will turn out?

Ya know, if nothing else and it all fell apart Im sure those with exp. could organize an impromptu skirmish or a training session. Besides, it's good to get out of your comfort zone and face challenges in new terrain as well as new problems that may arise from the same.
I saw people at the last couple of events I went to who dont realize the difference between cover and concealment and also bounding skills seem to go to hell quickly under fire as do having your battle buddy or team mates cover your a$$ when your in the shit. Just an observation.
Make it a weekend long event with camping(duh) and that will make the drive more worth it.

Not to be a tool, but I'm pretty skeptical of a 15 year old's ability to host an OP that would attract people from 3+ hours away.

I knew a lot of people were going to be like "15 year old? Must be stupid." I'm just the guy with airsoft knowledge. My dad and his friend (Land Owner) are the people really going to be leading/hosting the games. (Both are 50+ if that matters)
