USMC Airsoft Guns

I've been looking at a GBBs lately and I finally found one that I like. Now normally no problem order and be off to the races. However I checked all over the US airsoft sites and I can't find it anywhere. Again not a big problem, however what did surprise me since I haven't heard or seen anything about it, is that the retailers I've contacted about said model stated "The U.S. is not allowed to sell guns with the Marine Logo anymore.." and have no reason as to why. I still see Navy, Army, and Air Force just not Marine.

Anyone have a clue as to why?

I've seen custom jobs with Army, and Air Force which I probably should have stated. Good point on the G&P, but I'm more just wondering why Evike and Airsoft Atlanta have both stated that they cannot sell anything with the Marine logo on them.

The gun you are talking about [Socom Gear MEU 1911] , we do have but unfortunately not with the Marine Corp emblem on it.
The U.S. is not allowed to sell guns with the Marine Logo anymore..not too sure why? But I can see if I can work something out to where I can have the Marine buttons shipped to you and you can mayb do a self installation.

Yeah, WE and Socom Gear are the same. Except with Socom you usually get some nice perks such as a Silencer, Lanyard, extra mags, new logos.

Okay, so without trying to sound like a tool let me rework what I was asking for: Why is it that both Evike and Airsoft Atlanta are telling me that the US is not allowing USMC Logo's to be sold anymore?

I appropriate the links and I've been around enough G&G,G&P, WE, WA, etc, to know that they have the logos and are still being sold in the states, I'm just wondering Why they are saying this.

well i have some bad news for you... the united states marine corps has decided that enough is enough. basically they have trademarked the eagle globe and anchor and "marine". theres a whole page in a magazine that i recieve monthly. its sgt grit. ( awsome mag by the way) just my 2 cents if anyone wanted to know

Possibility is that Evike and AA are just selling the stock that is left. They are not ordering anymore stuff.
