what has happened to airsoft?

Postby G1600 » Mon May 03, 2010 10:09 am

I don't understand why all these kids are hosting games with like 12 different game modes? I mean, really? Like a ww2 skirm where I can only use semi, come on, I bought an m4 to light people up. all I want is to go to a game that is one game mode, and I don't have to have special specifications for my gun, what has happened to airsoft?

There's nothing stopping you from hosting your own game with whatever rules you want.

So just pick the games that you're interested in.

i mean, there are only like two flavors of ice cream that i eat at Baskin-Robbins, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't offer 31 flavors for the rest of society, lol.

This is a stupid thread.

With that said, i suggest finding LEGAL land to skirm or host mini games on, and start planning.

I too had once wondered what it would be like to play the games that i want, figured out that all i need is access to a legal field, and some good idea's.

Why would ww2 need semis only..? Besides, 12yr olds with ww2 airsoft rifles? The cheapest ww2 air rifle i know of is a cyma/cybergun tommy gun freom big 5

sorry, i am in a hurry so no caps or other grammar perfections.
We want 'em to know if they're gonna leave a bomb on the side of the road, first, we're just gonna blow up their little f**kin road.

Maybe they don't want a bunch of 12 year olds at their game ;)

Edit: You can expect to see a lot more games (Ops, mini-ops, gorified-skirmishes, skirms) with stricter rules.

Because people like you that want to "light people up" make this hobby an unorganized stupid cluster shazaam. It only takes one hit to take someone out, learn to shoot a little there Rambo. Go back to MW2 for that crap. And the restrictions are for everyones safety and fair play, including yours. I don't think you would appreciate some of these guys coming at you with a 550-600 FPS AEG

I actually wish we could use guns that higher fps than that, then when those little faggot 12 year olds get hit even when they dont call their hits. i wish they made guns with 700 fps, maybe more, add a little more realism to the game. And as for hi-caps, i could give a shit, mags are mags. but having a restriction on your gun, that you can easily disobey, that shit doesnt happen. "O hey Osama, i thought we agreed you wouldnt put your AK on full auto?" ya ok

Seriously! STFU

You are acting worse than those so called "faggot 12 year olds"
You are not going to last long here. You can make your own event and see how many people come.

First of all there is a difference between making someone call their hits and causing flesh wounds, broken goggles.
Second, As soon as the Taliban and Al Qaeda run around with 400 round mags and 3500 round box mags on their AK come back and talk. Airsoft is a game of honor and participants are expected to follow the rules.

I haven't been airsofting for very long, but I can tell you that the games in this community are geared towards mil-sim. I think that playing mil-sim style games is the way to go. Think about it as a filter that separates noobs from other players who are actually dedicated to airsoft.

About the whole "lighting people up", do you really think you will be a reincarnation of Rambo? Don't fantasize about airsoft, or very soon you will find yourself butthurt from an endless rain of plastic death. Seriously.

And btw, you are going to get flamed. You brought this upon yourself.
