Airsoft in Eugene

Postby G36fanatic... » Thu Mar 04, 2010 9:07 pm

Hello, I'm new here and I would like to know if there are any good places to airsoft near Eugene? I've been told about S4, but thats a bit of a drive(not too bad really). Are there any other indoor places worth visiting? Outdoor?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. This forum is new to me.

Welcome!

There is a field in Springfield, I use to host some skirmishes there. I'm opening one in Philomath is a while. There's one in Silverton, PSC and Ivan host games there too. As for indoors, S4 is the only one that's operating in Oregon.

thanks, I'll have to look into that. I'm hoping to go up to oregon this summer and visit family in springfeild. I'm looking for a good place to airsoft up there(I need something to break up the routine of my normal fields). I may be going to University of Oregon in a couple years too, so thats also why I am looking around.

Where would one find info on when these events are happening? Also, do you have an age limit?

Sounds like a plan. For my skirmishes go low as 14 years. As for other event, age depends on the Host. Most events happen at either Splat action, Sniperz den, Silverton, Titan 1 Tactical. There are a few in Scappoose and Estacada.

What Th0r said.

You might want to check out www.eugeneairsoft.info. Site traffic is a little slow, but generally we all post skirms and such there, so check back every so often to see anything is coming up. Now that summer is rolling in, games will be happening more frequently.

Hope to see you on the field!!

Theres an arena in Salem called "Warpaint."

Its a designated Paintball field, but my friends tell me that you are allowed to airsoft there too. You might have to use eco-bb's though...

I am in the same area. Springfield Eugene. We have a 15 person team, usually 10 show for QCB games and such and my home with a nice big yard and actually some damn good games. But I have also been wanting to spread my wings in the area and have not found much. We enjoy the game but are not super professional. We just want to go and enjoy ourselves with people who have the same good attitude. I haven't really found many games and NO retailers in the area sadly.

I'm also from the Eugene area as well as a few others at UO that I have gotten to start playing the sport. I'm in the process of locating a field down here to begin hosting larger scale events for all of AP. Have a couple good leads, but as of right now, nothing official. I will definitely keep you all posted if anything ends up happening though - would be nice to have local people help with construction, etc. if it ever came to that.

That would be great. Right now our own team is just the right size for playing at my place so any more wouldn't work. I have checked around and found an abandoned mill that the owner let us play at 3 times which was incredible. But any field or other area would be a boon for Eugene. Seems like with all the open fields and such around it would be easier to find a spot close by.

We actually do have a field, up in the mountain area past the McGowan Rifle Range.
