Heres the summary of the operation:
From what i heard it was the Navy Seals (Team 6) and had recieved intel that a high value target was located at a compound in Pakistan which they believed to be Osama Bin Laden. The Seals (30-40 men) built a replica compound here in the US to practice every scenario possible. They flew 4-6 blackhawks under the radar to the compound, and repelled down into the compound. One of the helicopters stalled and were forced to make a white knuckle landing outside of compound. Upon entering they found Osama's two most trusted men's, (couriers), families and they engaged in a firefight resulting in the death of both couriers. They breached the central building and came face to face with Osama Bin Laden and his wife. They yelled for him to surrender and when he resisted they gave 'two quick pulls on the trigger' resulting in a bullet above the left eye and in the chest. Some Seals grabbed all the computer software and intel they could while the others took Osama Bin Laden's body, leaving Osama's wife behind, wounded. That's what was released.
