I meant using Non bios on outdoor fields, They may not be bad for your gun, But they're bad for the enviroment. Alot of people know to not use .12g because of the shitty quality overall.

Me neither.

At $20 a bag of ammo, and being required to buy the ammo at a game at SniperzDen, and then an additional game cost of $30 or so, that's $50 for a day of airsoft.

I'm willing to pay for games, but $20 seems exorbitant to me.

Also, I don't keep my ammo in the original bag. I use speedloaders or a nalgene bottle if I plan on using a lot of rounds. Usually in my assault pack kept at the spawn or even on my back.

I move around too much to use the original bags. They usually cut or spill open, filling my pocket with ammo. Especially Ricks rebrand bags he was using a few brands ago.

Thats exactly why i was bummed about the previous new rule, It was near $50 to $60 for a day of airsoft, And i typically put it in empty water bottles.

The ammo was $18 not $20 @ REZ. If we were going to require a particular brand, we wanted to ensure it is great quality.

The pricing on the ammo is well within what local shops charge for their house brand. Other brands carry a $4+ price hike like Bioval and Mad Bull over what I charge.

You were also not required to buy a new bag everytime as well. So if you are using bio ammo then you are buying bio ammo as well.

Would it be possible to stock two forms of "house ammo" so that the cheap kids can come out more often too?

Something like $15 is completely reasonable.

Maybe a shitty $15 bag and a $20 good bag.

Dan, I will be importing ammo again. Which means I will be able to get the prices down. At this point I am unsure of the exact pricing but it will be somewhere around the $15 mark. I will never sacrifice quality though.

It will be in the blue bags again (most likely a diff color) not those shitty black ones. They will be available beginning with LOW

It's a ratio thing. $15 vs. $20 is paying a third more.

If you saw a vest at one site for $75, would you pay $100 for it somewhere else? This is especially true with house ammo when ISAF-C buys our ammo in bulk through Zergling and others.

Welshy McSheeplove wrote:Is $5 really that unreasonable? I'd understand a $10 or $15 difference, but $5 isn't really that much...

And also, I'm poor. I don't know how you afford your MBRAVSFLCS alphabet goods and are willing to pay $500 for a loadout, but I can't.

$5 increase won't stop everyone from playing.

But as game costs increase, and BB costs increase, I end up with the option of paying $50 to go airsoft at a big game, or I can use ammo I already have at $10/bag and play for free in the woods.

I'm not the only one who thinks like that. I would still like to go to larger games, and I think a cheaper option would help draw in people who can't afford the higher end things. Just like the option of a hicap or two for some players, so you don't cut out the poorsofters.

If you're already paying $30-50 for a game, another five dollars is 10%+ of your next game. Over five or six games, cutting that five bucks gives you 50% off a game.

If sniperzden offered a punchcard that would give you 50% off after five games, people would lose their minds over it. It'd be great! But when we talk about a $5 price fluctuation, everyone says "meh". It's the same thing, and it's a big deal over time.

And I'm the cheap bastard :)

But i do agree to a point. 90% of the airsoft i do is free skirms, either at Scappoose, or our own field. So i still have to source my own ammo. But the few large games i go to, the extra $5 to $20 really isn't going to make or break that event for me.
