Alrighty. Well I have multiple sites in mind but before this gets turned into an event i need to determine exactly what section of forest will work best, go out and walk it to make sure everything will work, then it will be posted as an event.

And yea i chose ten miles one because the military expects half that and our troops seem to handle that fine, and also because when hunting i have walked right alongside my 73 year old, diabetic grandpa for well over 10 miles. Yea sure he's not carrying a pack but the point is if he can do it everybody here should be able to.

one of the areas i'm considering is the jordan creek area of the tillimook state forest.

Yes, The safety is being blown way out of porportion. Obviously basic safety precautions are a must. The risk of someone getting hurt is always there. I wish i was able to do something like this. Keep it going.
