Airsoft supports our troops?

Discuss anything and everything here that's Airsoft related.

That game is in the works at The Farm, looking at doing it closer to the holidays.

Nuff Said!!

agreed.

The actual amount of people in the armed forces or retired from the armed forces is pretty huge for what I'd of thought. There are several people out there on youtube such as Spartan117 who is in the military and plays airsoft. I think the support for our troops is a huge factor to Airsofters due to the heavy population of some of our community members who are or were in the AF.

I 100% agree with Matt on the taking cash for a charity and not having anyway to show where it went. To be a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior there are a few steps to take. Then they take care of the supporter very well. I have been personally donating here and there to them for about a year. For my event at least, everyone will get a tax deductible receipt for their donation, just like when you donate to the Goodwill. Also you will be able to go on their website, shortly after the event and see the grand total donation from that event.

If you are saying you are supporting our troops, or any other charity for that matter, one way or the other, you damn well better do it!!! This hobby/Game/sport, whatever you want to call it should be getting nothing but good press when it comes to games like these. Santa's war, can food drive, freaking game for Fill The Boot, etc.

If this "community" put all the bullshit differences aside for one weekend, We as a whole could do a great deal of good for our local community, the Armed Forces, and Airsoft in general. This is what Airsoft should all be about if you ask me..

Closer to thanksgiving you should see a posting of an event just like this.

I'm not sure how it is in Oregon, but around here food banks get way too much food during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season. They simply can't handle it all. They really need more food in the off-times.
