Yes DJ this is true, but with trying to rent a place you have a lot to cover with this also. Theres the clean up of thousands of bbs, damage coverage of the property, and of course a HUGE insurance bond along with that you may need an attorney to go over the lease to make sure it's all as tight as a frogs a$$. Not trying to discourage you, but like Matt has pointed out and as being a owner of a airsoft field, this sport is a phony pony if you don't have huge $$$$$$ to do everything on your own. That is why renting another filed with them already doing all the leg work is sometimes the way to go. GOOD LUCK!!! and I hope it all works out for you.

One step at a time.....I really would like to find n old school and run an active shooter training, but first I need to find a location and then I will iron out the details.

This kind of scenario is really fun / stressful. Back when Columbine was really a hot topic my agency did one of these at a local high school complete with student actors etc. This is not SWAT stuff, but pods of 3-4 of independent officers going in to neutralize the threat before the SWATties get there, unbelievable how pumped up you get going through with screaming kids and looking for bad guys. I wound up killing the bad guy in a bathroom stall.

This is in Idea phase and I thought it would be a nice change of pace from the usual outdoor stuff. Just have to work out details..............

Yep, the PD and the SO both have access to a lot of places that we (I) will never even get close to getting into. The old fairview training center was a primo example. I'm looking and checking out some places. One of the reasons that the CAGE was so cool was that no one gave a hoot about the building and what was done to it. I'll check out the old Seneca cannery. I'm also taking suggestions folks. Thanks for the tip!

If this gets big I'll show up, to me it looks like its got the same concept as Ap Summer Slaughter...

One thing that would help is to keep this thread stickied for a little bit, and update this with info as you go along. And once you get it all figured out add it on the events calendar as soon as possible.

Very perceptive of you. The reason this was bumped out some , was so that we would not conflict with the Summer Slaughter. I'm not too sure about making this a sticky, but I will update as things develop. Thanks for your input

Then we will plan it for the end of august. /Sarcasm
