Sucks kid died. Sucks kid was stupid and inticed the cops to shoot him. Sucks he was 13 and his parents weren't smart enough to teach him smartness. Sucks that California sucks.

TLDR: That's California, not Oregon. What they do is their business. The notion that it will influence Oregon airsoft is stupid. California has numerous gun laws that Oregon has repeatedly said shazaam you to.

Oh, you know...wearing rank, tabs, flashes, pins, unit patches, and berets that they've never earned. It's an insult, and an affront to anyone who's put in the time to earn such things. It's why you find so much hatred for airsoft on military Facebook pages, forums, and websites.

This is always silly.
I did WW2 reenacting for a few years. These weren't events in front of the public. It was just like airsoft but with blanks and organization. We wore tabs and berets, etc.. everything someone in that unit we were portraying would have had/worn. meeting veterans while wearing that stuff, they didn't get offended, they were flattered.
Anyone who gets angry over a teenage squeaker doing an impression wearing those things has some personal issues.
As long as the person isn't claiming to be that, generally I've found most military people don't give a shazaam. The few who did usually had attitude likely because they were in the rear sorting mail or some shit.
