shipping an Airsoft rifle/pistol

Postby VikingR » Sun Oct 13, 2013 8:59 pm

I am looking for info on how to/ who with to ship an air soft gun. I usually ship with USPS, are they going to have a fit when they xray the box and see what looks like a real steel gun? I know you can send rifles in the mail usually, and not pistols with USPS, but that dosnt mean they won't freak out. Also I know you can ship real steel anything UPS but those idiots at the pick up drop off location don't seem to know that. They had a melt down when I brought in a disassembled paintball marker in an unmarked, unsealed box.
I apologize if this has been covered, I searched and there has got to be hundreds of threads about shipping discounts and stuff. Thanks guys!

A well packed airsoft replica can be shipped with any carrier. Be sure to put orange tape/paint on the end of the barrel.

If I'm shipping a pistol, I tend to use the small/ medium flat rate boxes. Don't write anything on the outside of the box other than the mailing address and your return address.

USPS doesn't xray every package.

This only applies to shipping within the USA. Shipping airsoft replicas varies on a country by country basis and their local postal websites should be able to tell you more.

Don't ship to Europe unless you want a big hassle. Or china. Or anywhere outside of the USA. That is because the USA is the best country on Earth. :beltfed:

On a serious note customs are plain shitty in most other countries. They wanna look at it, keep it for weeks, extort you to liberate it from customs, ETC.
I'm the osiris of this.

You can ship airsoft guns in the US and internationally. It's not difficult if you do it correctly.

If you have a specific question it will be easier to help you than having us write everything we know about shipping.
