Lost pm's

Postby Shortbu » Wed May 15, 2013 9:41 pm

Recently saw that I had a pm, regarding resurection Vl. For what ever reason, when I tried to read it, it said unable to find pm. I'm a little e-tarded, and don't understand what happened. I tried to go back at another time, thinking it was just a connection issue, but there is no record of it, only my old pm's. Anybody care to shed a little light on this dilema? Also, appologies to who ever sent me the message, I'm not intentionaly ignoring you.

maybe your inbox is full. delete older messages and there may be a banner that says "show new/hidden PM's" after you do that

I've had that happen to some very important messages on here before, but only if the user that sent the message shuts down their account. Who sent you the message? Are they still an AP member? Maybe they deleted it after sending it to you, which is also an option.

My in box is less than 10% full, and I can't remember who sent it to me. I do remember that I recognized their call sign, but after a while they all kinda run together enless you actually know who they are (remember my call sign IS Shortbus). Thanx for the feedback. Anybody else got any ideas?

Junto is right. Either the account could have been deleted, or the user who sent it actually deleted the outbound PM before you read it. If it hasn't been read, it's considered "outgoing" and can be deleted. Since I haven't deleted many accounts lately, I'm going to assume that's what happened. We haven't had any reports of PMs randomly disappearing otherwise.
