Gearwhore Photo Contest Idea

Hey guys - I just wanted to gauge interest in an idea Variable had that we talked about at Shot Show.

The concept is simple, a Gear Whore Photo Contest. We haven't had a contest like this in a while, we thought it would be a fun opportunity to gear up as your favorite impression, your most tactical high-speed loadout, or just make us laugh with an over the top ridiculous loadout that nobody would ever use in real battle. OPFOR or foreign impressions would be welcomed too.

There's no cash or gear prizes at stake. Instead of just giving people with the most money and gear even more money and gear... we decided we'll give them what all gear whores want - attention! The winner would become AP's new "poster boy" (or girl) in the top header, maybe get a custom forum title, I'm also considering running a series of AP promotional posters in which this person would be the subject. We'd give them out for free at events. If we get enough interest we could have winners on both the OPFOR and BLUFOR sides.

My question - are there folks out there who would enter? Or if you don't have the gear to enter, would you enjoy checking out the photos and voting on your favorites?
