WW2 reenactors have tried to get the Lime cement plant in the past. They weren't allowed to because of safety issues.

concrete dust is costic and toxic to breathe. yes both. i mixed some up the other day without a mask and the next day it felt like i had a sinus infection and migrane to boot. the stuff is nasty. definetly a gas masks required scenario. adds to the whole post apocoliptic thing i guess.
