Air Seal Nozzle

Postby BaldEagle » Mon Mar 29, 2010 9:22 pm

So, I have been researching ways to get the most compression behind your bb. I was wondering if anyone has upgraded to an "air seal nozzle." If so what did you get, what were the results? Where there any negative results?

No, there are no negative results from an air seal nozzle, which is an air nozzle that has an O ring that comes into contact with your cylinder head.

Any air-nozzle of with an internal O-ring is considered to be an "air seal" air-nozzle.
Guarder, Deep fire and some elements air nozzles are some that I know have O-ring in them although I'm sure there might be a few others.
Systema air-nozzles do NOT have o-rings and again I believe there are a few others.

Ya, I have been looking at them and yes, I know that an Air Seal Nozzle has an o'ring that is what sets it apart. I was looking for more of a "it busted my fps by 30fps" comments. Also, on negative results, I was wondering if there is any negative "rate of fire" effects? I read somewhere that it might but I was skeptical.

If your current air-nozzle leaks under a compression test, get a new one. Otherwise, keep the one you have.
