Incredibly verbose greetings from Beaverton

All,

I'm another FNG who's really excited to get out there and join the action. I've always been a big fan of guns, planes, tanks, and anything military, so airsoft has always appealed to me.

I bought some GBBs to plink around with seven years ago but never got around to actually playing. Had a chance to do paintball a few times back then but it never really stuck- the guns were just too unrealistic.

Recently, after some time at the shooting range with a friend of mine, I convinced him we should try airsoft. So two weeks ago we went to the indoor area in Hillsboro. I was really digging the gameplay and the AEG (despite it being the pink) and we decided we wanted to start playing regularly.

The next weekend I went to AONW (who were extremely helpful, btw) and I picked up a G&G M14 EBR and some accessories to get started. I also have been looking into local games and am hoping to make it to Bitter Water but it seems every store and online retailer have no midcap mags available.

Anyways, that's the story of how I ended up joining AP and look forward to meeting you all in the field.
