why cant every minor come to games like that

Yes, I agree. If they all wore DESERT camo in the woods of the Pacific Northwest they would be so easy to spot. Makes my job easier.

I agree with Matt, try to get MARPAT in its green version. Then make it a challenge for us. I usually where ACU, and that kinda work in the woods, but at least its not as bad as what you are wearing. What I wear is actually green in some degree.

JohnnyBoii wrote:Hey guys. My name is Johnathan Brown, my call name is Johnny Boii. I am from Salem Oregon. I am 16 & in my Jr. year in High School. I have experience in both Airsoft & Paintball. I am joining the Army Medical Corp. I am going to be a 68 Whiskey aKa Combat Medic. My main reason for really getting into Airsoft is for military preparation. Talking with recruiters, they all say Milsim is a very good trainer. I am still deciding on all my gear, I really want a full metal m4, but I am leaning toward a non metal due to funds. I hope you guys could help me get the correct gear to get closer to real weapons. I'll post the gear I am planning on getting in the gear section.

Thanks all!
Hooah!

Welcome! If you want a full metal be prepared to spend some dough. BUT it will be worth it! You are gonna face some flak for being 16 as all 18 and under players do but don't take it personally. If you want to get a good MILSIM experience hang out with the older teams.

A really good example of a good team even though not from here:

They said "Milsim was a good trainer"... really?!
I know allot of recruiters now prefer people who do MILSIM. One recruiter asked me about that two years ago. I told him I do particpate in MILSIM. Then he asked me if I was available to go to office to take the practice ASVAB.

I can see a conspiracy forming

Pretty soon you will have to be an airsofter in order to join the military and when/if the draft comes back then we will be first picked but they will say that it was "random". EVERYONE! quick run to Canada and UK! We'll start from scratch there and destroy them next.

Good thing it's desert digi and not ACU then huh :)

Yes. Internet=porn. It's a fact of life that most of us have come to accept happily.

I know, but at least has green in it unlike the dessert MARPAT that kid is wearing.

On a serious note I'm tiring to get woodland MARPAT because it sooooo much better then ACU.

I know for the tacticool reason but why doesn't anyone wear real tree camo? Surely that would be more effective at concealing even though it's not MILSIM

Because bushes/reeds/trees aren't supposed to move... Same reason why ghillie suits don't work when standing up, and putting branches and shit on your hat doesn't work.

Its not cool, plus everybody is wearing hunting camo for casual use. It will be like coming to a game in you civilian cloths

But if you came to a game in civilian clothes you just say you're a contractor.
