New to the area

Postby Engr23 » Mon Mar 05, 2012 4:12 pm

Hey all,

I'm new to the Portland area (23 yr old) and am looking for an airsoft community.
I don't have extensive experience, but am friendly, intelligent, and willing to learn and take advice.
Ideally I would like to find a team to join up with, learn the ropes , and prove to be an asset as a member.
I have the basic gear (aeg, mags, side ARM, goggles) and am willing to invest in more if I find a good team.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys.

Good day.

The community is a floating, uncontrolled horde called AP, and you're in it, now.

As far as a team, I'd say look into the Cascadian Light Infantry (CLI) as they take new players and offer monthly trainings.

If you're looking for a lot of committment, and want to do more than one outing a month, then I'd say look at the Phantom Furries (PF).

Both teams are in the teams database, and you can private message (PM) their leadership.

Or just show up to games and skirmishes as often as possible and see who you think you would mesh with, or who has a gear list you can afford.

Go to games, make friends, and be happy. That's one way to find a team.

Anyways, welcome to AP.
