Hello from Vancouver!

Hello everyone, I'm Sean and I'm pretty new to airsoft. I've been into the sport for about a year with my brothers and love it (We have a plot of privately owned land up in Hockinson that we play at sometimes). I received my first decent gun for Christmas last year (an AIM m4) and am hoping on going to Resurrection IV.

I've usually been a lurker on forums since I'm a pretty quiet person online and have seen plenty of stuff you should and shouldn't post so hopefully you guys won't have to worry about me too much. :)

I just have one question -

I recently took apart my m4's gearbox since it was locking-up, failed at re-shimming and re-greasing it, and then had trouble putting it back together since the trigger spring kept popping out. Should i try to glue the spring in place or am i just missing something?(could just be a manufacturing flaw, I've heard the QC is pretty bad sometimes in AIM m4's)

I live in Eastern Vancouver near Mill Plain in that sea of suburbs.
I'm gonna work on it again and if I can't get it back together before the game I'll probably go looking for help.
