All that stuff about the role of a DMR is great, but too bad it's not true in Airsoft. The role of a DMR in Airsoft is just some fat a$$ kid who's too lazy to be a real rifleman. He wants to stand behind trees and lob BBs at people all day long rather than get into a real firefight.
WE DON'T PLAY AIRSOFT IN IRAQ OR AFGHANISTAN. We play in OREGON, where we have these things called TREES. Engagement distances are often at 10 feet or less. 400 fps is more than enough velocity or an accurized long barrel semi-auto rifle to reach out and touch someone....
