No. Your gun breaks down faster because you shoot more bbs in the same amount of time.
To use an analogy: You have to change your oil every 3,000 miles. If you drive at 60 miles an hour, you have to change the oil every 50 hours or so of driving. If you drive at 30 miles an hour, you go 100 hours behind the wheel before you hit 3,000 miles.
If your MTBF (mean time between failure) is 25,000 pellets, you get there faster with a lipo than you do with a lower-voltage NMH pack. Also, you run the internal bits faster, which means that you may build up more heat. More heat, and you may break things quicker.
