Stamped aluminum mesh sheets found at a local hardware store or similarly-manufactured speaker mesh found @ auto stores can work. I highly suggest testing it with the hardest-firing gun you can find first; I had somebody with a 550 fps bolt platform test fire at the metal I usedat point-blank range before installing it in my goggles.

I buy cheep mesh mask and use the mesh from that in my other goggles . Speaker mesh is mostly cheeper mesh but you better test it first . It tends to not be BB proof . 8)

ya ive been testing everything i get my hand on with a 500fps+ rifle but its just for some ventilation holes so it doesn't have to be bullet proof just with stand some impact cause i just want it slowed down a little if it hits me in the face lol

You do not want the BB to go through the mask, that spells bad shit right there.

Haha, you do not want to get shot in the face. I've been shot in the lip by a gun going 400 fps, I was shot from about 40 feet away. It hurts. I may have not been wearing a fully facemask with any cover but it swelled up to be like someone stuff about 4 peas in my lip. I think if you were wearing a metal mesh thing that broke but slowed down the bb, you would still have the bb hit you and than you have the broken mesh right there that could be sharp. Not a fun situation to be in when being shot at.
