Could I use a cardboard box then just tape sup newspaper to the top and let it hang down in front of the opening? Then I shoot through the paper and the bb bounces off cardboard and into paper, staying IN the box.
We want 'em to know if they're gonna leave a bomb on the side of the road, first, we're just gonna blow up their little f**kin road.
Depends on how fast you are shooting. All of my guns will penetrate at least 1 layer of cardboard. I'd put a pillow or something in the box to stop them. Just remember to never reuse bb's in your gun. The dirt and grime from firing can cause failures.
When you fire a bb it will be subjected to a lot of stress that will create micro-fractures within it. Even if the bb was clean, were you to reuse it you run a serious risk of having the bb be deformed and therefore shatter in your gun, potentially damaging the internals.

Malik, you should change your callsign to "BB Catcher".
To make one, get a box, have an open end with clips for attaching a target. Inside have a piece of cloth that is angle diagonally down, from the opening to the bottom of the box.
Anyways, Just use the method these guys have been saying... Rip the flaps off a cardboard box on one end, then cut up an old bed sheet or something to slow the bb down on impact. Or you can just ducttape an old towel together to fit the size of the box, then ducttape it on the back.
Let me explain when it isn't midnight, if this doesn't make sense I will re-post/edit.
