Bad Karma here with a new piece of Tactical and Impractical kit.
The Advanced Integrated Combat Computing System is a full Windows 7 touchscreen computer built into an Operator Plate Carrier, covered in molle and multicam, and designed specifically to piss off the having-more-than-a-hicap-and-a-JG-while-wearing-woodland-makes-you-an-elitist-fuck crowd.

Truthfully, I designed it for both CQC and outdoor use, and both may see some benefit from it.
First things first: This is a prototype, designed STRICTLY as a proof-of-concept. That means that yeah, it's janky as all shazaam. However, it is 100% operational and fieldable, and built on a budget of exactly $0.00 out of shit I had around my apartment/office. With money and time this could be refined for much greater efficiency and I plan to do just that.
Hardware Specs:
Core Solo 2.0 GHz Processor
2GB DDR2
80GB HDD
Windows 7 Professional
7" Active Touch Panel TFT Display
NTSC camera with 90 degree bend for corner-viewing
~4hr run-time
GPS and 3G Broadband Access for real-time satellite mapping
Total weight is around 7lbs.

The PC itself is integrated into the back of a multicam OPC, fitting snuggly where the rear plate would normally go.

The VGA and USB connections are run through the vest, excess cables stored in one of the interal pouches on the cumberbund.

The LCD, outside of its multicam cozy. The cozy was built out of an OD water bladder, down to size, and wrapped in multicam fabric from an old BDU.

The camera system is a 90 degree bent piece of conduit with a webam optic on the front. In the future, this will be rebuilt to be more tacticool and will include infrared LEDs for night vision.

The whole apparatus is designed to stay in place at the proper viewing angle with no additional support, that way the camera system can be used with the off hand while the user has their sidearm at the ready, keeping more guns downrange.

The package is slim and doesn't add much thickness to the vest, helping maintain high speed and low drag.
